Carburetors

The purpose of your carburetor is to mix & regulate the correct amount of gasoline with air so that the engine runs properly. If there is not enough fuel mixed with the air, your engine "runs lean" and will either not run at all or cause possible damage to your engine. If ther is to much fuel mixed with the air, your engine "runs rich" and will run very smokey, run poorly (bogs down, stalls easily, etc) or not run at all (floods with gas). When replacing your carburetor, it is suggested that you also check your fuel lines for deterioration, flush your gas tank (replace with new fuel) & perform a full service (new oil & filters).
